Self-employed individuals, microbusiness representatives, as well as small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Kherson region can receive grants to develop their businesses.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Registration for two grant programs aimed at supporting business in Ukraine began on October 8.
Entrepreneurs working in eight frontline oblasts can apply for the grants: Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.
It is noted that the programs apply to both local and relocated businesses and will run until March 31, 2026.
One of the proposed grant programs is – individual cash assistance to support microbusiness initiatives for self-employed individuals, households and micro-entrepreneurs who have been affected by the war.
Such a grant will be provided for the purchase of equipment, tools or other means to start or develop one’s own business.
The amount of this initiative: from 1,000 to 5,000 US dollars in hryvnia equivalent, and you can submit an application here.
Additionally, owners of small and medium-sized businesses are invited to take part in the financial assistance program for small and medium-sized businesses for the acquisition of production fixed assets.
Under this program entrepreneurs can receive from 17,000 to 30,000 US dollars in hryvnia equivalent. You can submit an application here.
Selected participants will receive consulting and organizational support during the implementation of business ideas.
