In the Kyiv region, a Russian strike destroyed the logistics complex “Amtel”, which belongs to Kherson businessmen Oleh Lebedenko and Vanessa Hirina — the daughter of Hennadiy Hirin, whose family is involved in an international criminal scandal.
The State Emergency Service published photos of the destroyed complex.
According to the State Emergency Service, a missile strike caused a fire at two warehouses in the village of Bilohorodka. The blaze covered almost 100,000 square meters. More than 200 rescuers, 73 units of equipment and 3 helicopters were involved in the response. Two people are preliminarily reported injured.
Notably, in March 2024 this logistics complex was purchased from the “Dragon Capital” group by the Kherson company “Gistion”. The market value of the deal was estimated at 35–40 million UAH.
Thus, the Kherson company gained control of LLC “International Logistics Company” (LLC “ILC”) — the legal entity to which the warehouse complex is directly registered.
As a result, the ultimate beneficiaries of LLC “ILC” became the owners of “Gistion”, Oleh Lebedenko and Vanessa Hirina. Vanessa’s father is Kherson businessman Hennadiy Hirin, who was previously elected to the Kherson city council, where he was part of Volodymyr Saldo’s team.
In November 2024 it became known that the Hirin family had come under the scrutiny of European law enforcement.
According to a MOST source, Hennadiy’s brother — Vladlen Hirin — his wife and son were detained in Europe at Interpol’s request on suspicion of forming a criminal group and laundering funds in Cyprus, Spain and other EU countries.
Hennadiy Hirin himself was then hiding abroad and was declared wanted.
Despite the criminal cloud over its owners, LLC “International Logistics Company” continued its operations.
According to the analytical system YouControl, this year the company owning the warehouse was re-registered from the Kyiv region to the city of Pivdenne in Odesa region.
