A teacher from the Kherson region, Oleksii Gunchenko, became a laureate of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian contest of manuscripts of educational literature for out-of-school education institutions.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the Kherson Academy of Continuing Education.
He won in the category “Educational literature for out-of-school education”.
For the contest the teacher submitted an original methodological development “Using the daily reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the classes of tourist and local history clubs”. The work combines elements of patriotic education with practical local history and, according to the organizers, is relevant in today’s conditions.
It is noted that Oleksii Gunchenko has worked for many years in the field of out-of-school education. He conducts trainings and master classes, organizes remote consultations, and also coordinates city stages of the military-patriotic game Sokil (‘Dzhura’) and competitions for young tourists. His pupils have repeatedly become prize-winners of regional competitions.
The teacher’s original program “Tourist and Local History Club” is used in out-of-school education institutions of the Kherson region and other regions of Ukraine.
