Law enforcement officials have notified Khrestivka resident Tetyana Shymanska of suspicion of collaborationist activity in the temporarily occupied territory of Kakhovka district of Kherson region.
The text of the suspicion was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, on the left bank of Kherson region the Russian occupation administration created the so‑called Chaplynskyi municipal district (territorial unit introduced by the occupying authorities, analogous to a hromada, – MOST). No later than August 2023, Shymanska voluntarily assumed the so‑called position of head of the department for work with educational institutions in the illegal authority.
It was also established that by September 10, 2023 she took part in illegal elections and was elected a deputy to the so‑called council of deputies of the so‑called Chaplynskyi municipal district for the United Russia party.
Law enforcement agencies note that these actions facilitated the functioning of the Russian occupation authorities in the region.
Shymanska’s actions were classified under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to electronic declarations, in 2017 Tetyana Shymanska worked as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at the Khrestivka general secondary school (grades I–III) in Kherson region.
From 2018 to 2021 she held the position of head of the department of education, culture, youth and sports of the Khrestivka village council of Kherson region. At the same time, she worked as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature.
In 2021 Shymanska also indicated in her declarations that she worked as a chief specialist of the department of education, culture, youth and sports of the Starosiletska village council.
