In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, an overcharge of tariffs for housing and communal services of more than 19 million rubles was discovered.
This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of the Kherson region.
The illegal agency found violations in the work of the so-called «Unified Regional Housing and Communal Services Fund of the Kherson Region», which billed payments according to incorrect tariffs. Tariff rates were applied without taking into account the type and number of floors of buildings, which led to residents overpaying from 0.6 to 1.7 rubles per square meter.
After a «submission» from the prosecutor’s office, the illegal fund allegedly carried out a recalculation for about 1200 buildings.
Recall, in mid-May 2025 information emerged that another increase in tariffs for “utilities”.
At the same time, in Kakhovka on the left bank of the region residents complain that they do not receive any communal services, yet are forced to pay for them in full.
