The head of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balitsky, said that Russian forces fully control the R-280 “Novorossiya”.
He said this during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Balitsky, the road that Russia uses to connect the Rostov region with the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions and Crimea is now allegedly “under full control” of Russian troops.
It should be noted that the R-280 route is part of the so-called “land corridor” to Crimea, which Russia uses to transfer military equipment, personnel, and logistical and material support between occupied territories.
Earlier, Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov claimed that traffic along the “Novorossiya” route allegedly did not stop after attacks by Ukrainian drones.
