A pseudo-librarian from annexed Crimea, Andriy Yurkevych, has headed the illegally created office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in the Kherson region.

The institution was registered at the end of December last year in the village of Shchaslyvtseve, Henichesk district. Yurkevych is listed as its head.
According to the YC.World business connections system, Yurkevych also runs the illegal communal institution “Centralized Library System of the Bakhchisaray District of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, which the Russians created in 2015, and also heads a sports club and a private enterprise.
Recall, the ‘law’ on Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights was adopted by the occupation Kherson Regional Duma as early as September last year.
The main tasks of the illegal Commissioner are “the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities, promoting the development of public institutions focused on protecting entrepreneurs’ rights, interaction with the entrepreneurial community of Kherson region, and promoting the improvement of the business and investment climate in the region,” etc.
