The pseudo-ministry of education and science of the Kherson region confirmed that an “optimization of the network of educational institutions” is underway on the left bank.
This was reported in a pro-Russian media outlet.
In particular, it concerns the closure of a number of educational institutions in the communities of the temporarily occupied left bank of the region.
Thus, representatives of the fake ministry said that they are carrying out “optimization” due to the need for “rational use of resources and limited funding.” At the same time, they noted that they continue to assess the situation and allegedly take into account children’s right to education.
At the same time, representatives of the occupying authorities assured that the final list of schools that may be subject to cuts has not yet been determined.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers plan to close a school in Sokolohirne.
It also emerged that the occupying authorities may close at least six schools in the Kalanchak community and a kindergarten in the village of Preobrazhenka.
