The occupying authorities announced the alleged completion of the identification procedure of the bodies of those killed as a result of the fire at a cafe and hotel in the village of Khorly in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
This was reported to occupation media by the so-called governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo.
According to him, identification measures were carried out immediately after the incident and are now completed. He also stated about “providing assistance to everyone who needed it”.
Recall, on the night from December 31 to January 1, 2026, the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata” and the nearby hotel “Leo” in Khorly were attacked.

The Russians placed responsibility for this strike on the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi, and the commander of the 383rd Separate Brigade of Unmanned Aerial Systems, Andriy Dzyany.
