The occupation administration in the temporarily occupied city of Oleshky on the left bank of the Kherson region says that they continue to deliver humanitarian aid to the city and that there is “no humanitarian catastrophe” there.
This is reported by Kremlin-controlled media, citing the words of the so-called governor of the TOT of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo.
According to him, the delivery of food and essential goods is being organized despite the alleged “constant attacks by the enemy”.
According to the legitimate authorities, over 8,000 people still reside in Oleshky.
There has been a critical humanitarian situation for over a month now – people hunt pheasants to eat.
Food supplies are almost exhausted, so locals survive on what remains at home or what they can barter. In addition, the city has no electricity, water supply, gas, or stable communications. People cook food on wood-burning stoves or simply on fires in the yards.
Despite this, the local illegal authorities claim that there are no evacuation measures for the population in the city.
