Representatives of the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region announced their intention to create a so-called register of cultural and historical heritage monuments.
This was reported by Kremlin-controlled media.
According to the so-called governor Volodymyr Saldo, the occupation administration plans to add to the list even those sites located near the front line.
The project is also overseen by the so-called senator from the Kherson region, Kostyantyn Basyuk, who announced the creation of “an expert council” to select the sites.
Earlier Volodymyr Saldo wanted to erect a monument on the Kinburn Spit to the Generalissimo of the Russian Empire Alexander Suvorov.
It should be noted that during the war the Russians destroyed almost 300 cultural monuments in the Kherson region.
