The occupation authorities of Kherson region adopted the “law” on subsidies for utility services.
The document was published on the website of the occupation regional duma.
“Law” provides for compensation of part of the costs of paying for housing, utility services and the purchase of solid fuel for residents of the occupied territory.
The right to subsidies and the conditions for their provision will be determined by the provisions of the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and by resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation. Payments are to be made through bodies controlled by the occupation administration.
The document also states that in the absence of centralized suppliers of solid fuel the subsidy may be paid directly to citizens — provided that documents proving its purchase are presented.
Recall that at the end of last year in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region they announced an increase water tariffs, electricity, waste collection.
