The occupying Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Kherson region announced the need to register radioelectronic devices and threatened local residents with fines.
This is reported by Kremlin-controlled media.
The message refers to the Russian law “On Communications”, according to which all equipment operating on radio frequencies must be registered with Roskomnadzor.
In particular, this applies to antennas, repeaters, radio stations, signal amplifiers and other wireless transmitters.
Occupying authorities claim that the use of unregistered or uncertified devices is allegedly an administrative offense. Fines of up to 200,000 rubles are provided for this. In addition, such equipment may be confiscated.
