The occupiers claim that residents of the left bank of the Kherson region allegedly handed over more than one and a half thousand units of weapons to meet the needs of participants in the war against Ukraine.

According to an employee of the occupying Rosgvardiya, the collection concerns the full list of weapons that may be in the hands of the population. This refers to hunting smoothbore and rifled firearms, gas pistols and revolvers, as well as other long-barreled and short-barreled weapons.
The occupying authorities are urging residents to hand over weapons to the territorial divisions of licensing and permits.
Recall that in December 2025 the Russian authorities extended the deadline for reissuing documents for weapons in the occupied territories.
