On the Prydniprovskyi direction of the front the situation remains relatively stable, however Russian forces continue to strike rear facilities and civilian infrastructure in Kherson region.
This was stated on the air of the TV channel FREEДОМ by military expert Serhiy Hrabskyi.
According to him, the nature of Russian forces’ actions in this direction changed after Ukrainian strikes on Russian logistics.
“There the situation actually looks quite stable, and here’s why. The Prydniprovskyi direction and the situation there are the result of what we have been doing over the past several months. What we call mid-strikes. That is, as a result of Ukrainian strikes, logistics has been seriously disrupted, which forces the enemy to act cautiously or, so to speak, non-linearly. Non-linearly means that the enemy concentrates its strikes not on attacking positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, but rather attempts to strike rear facilities. They require fewer efforts and fewer resources”, – Hrabskyi noted.
He also noted that Russian forces currently do not have the capability to carry out a large-scale crossing of the Dnipro. This, in his view, allows the Ukrainian side to focus efforts on striking Russian military targets in this direction.
“As a result of the fighting there we are creating preconditions for the further continuation of offensive actions by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Tavriiskyi direction, and these are preconditions for the liberation of Crimea. We are not abandoning Crimea”.
Earlier it was reported that on the Prydniprovskyi direction Russian forces are almost not conducting assault operations and do not have the capabilities to cross the Dnipro.
