Russian security forces announced the detention of a resident of the Kherson region whom they accuse of “state treason”.
This is reported by sources controlled by the Russian Federation.
According to the FSB, in 2024 the woman allegedly, at the instruction of a representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, collected and transmitted via Telegram information about the workplace, residence and vehicles of an occupying official.
The Russian side claims that this information could have been used to prepare an assassination attempt.
Russian security officers also announced the opening of a criminal case. According to them, the woman faces punishment of up to life imprisonment.
