The occupiers illegally sentenced a 34-year-old resident of Kherson region for allegedly passing data to Ukrainian intelligence.
This was reported by the region’s occupation prosecutor’s office.
They claim that in October 2023 the man, while on the territory of Kherson region, “voluntarily collected data on the movements and locations of Russian military equipment, as well as on the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces”.
The Kherson resident allegedly passed this information to another person, who later forwarded it to representatives of Ukrainian intelligence to carry out fire strikes on the occupiers’ positions.
The man was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment in a strict-regime correctional colony.
Earlier we wrote that on the left bank of the Kherson region an occupation court handed down a verdict against 41-year-old Valentyn Pashkevych, whom the occupying authorities accused of “state treason”.
