During the occupation of Kherson, Russian military personnel beat, illegally detained, and held a local resident, who later died from the injuries sustained.
This was reported by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region.
According to the police, on the afternoon of March 28, 2022, on 200 Years of Kherson Avenue the occupiers, motivated by national hostility, inflicted numerous blows to the chest of a 46-year-old man. After that he was detained and held in an unspecified location.
On April 23, 2022, the man died from the injuries sustained.
Currently, law enforcement officers are identifying witnesses and eyewitnesses to this crime and collecting evidence.
