Pro-Russian occupation structures in the temporarily seized part of the Kherson region announced that local agricultural producers have concluded 781 “agreements” to receive so-called state support since the beginning of the year. According to them, the total amount of subsidies will reportedly exceed 1 billion rubles.
This was reported by pro-Russian channels.
As the occupation Ministry of Agriculture states, 966.7 million rubles have already been transferred since the beginning of the year, and about another 121 million rubles are planned to be paid by the end of December.
The main part of the funds, over 907 million rubles, is promised to be directed to “agrotechnological works”. Other financing – for the cultivation of potatoes and open-field vegetables, the production and processing of milk, the manufacture of bread and bakery products, as well as for the processing of the meat of farm animals and poultry into food products.
However, such “development of the agro-sector” sharply contrasts with what Ukrainian law enforcement previously documented.
Recall, earlier the prosecutor’s office announced a suspicion against the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Andriy Razin, who, together with other Russian officials, coordinated the forced seizure of property of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises in the occupied territories.
According to the investigation, under the guise of “nationalization” the Russian side seized agricultural land, machinery, grain elevators and crops, and the seized grain was massively sent to Crimea and Russian regions with subsequent export presented as Russian products.
From only the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, the occupiers exported over 4.1 million tons of grain worth over 23 billion hryvnias.
