The occupying authorities said that the voter register in the temporarily occupied Kherson region contains over 335 thousand people.
This was reported in an interview to occupation media by the head of the illegally created election commission, Marina Zakharova.
As a reminder, according to the occupying election commission, as of January 1, 2026, the region allegedly registered 420 573 voters. How exactly this and the previous number were counted – is unknown.
Elections for deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation are scheduled for September 18-20. Earlier the occupiers announced the holding of early and mobile “voting” in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.
