Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the situation on the R-280 “Novorossiya” highway, which runs through the occupied territories of southern Ukraine, has supposedly improved, and traffic on the route is gradually being restored.
This is reported by occupier-run media.
According to him, about 7 thousand vehicles use the road daily, of which almost 3 thousand – are trucks. At the same time, the Russian official admitted that “there were problems on the road”.
At the same time, according to him, in percentage terms the situation on the highway “has significantly improved”, and traffic on it “has more or less been restored”. However, from Khusnullin’s statements it is not clear by what exactly, in his opinion, it was possible to improve the situation.
It should be noted that the R-280 route is part of the so-called “land corridor” to Crimea, which Russia uses to transfer military equipment, personnel and logistical support between the occupied territories.
Earlier the head of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region Yevhen Balytskyi said that Russian troops completely control this highway, but the SBS of Ukraine refuted these claims.
Recall that in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region the Russians are testing the emergency alert system for drones on the R-280 “Novorossiya” highway, which leads to occupied Crimea.
