The occupiers claim that an investor from France, whom they do not name, “is interested in developing a cosmetology business in the Kherson region”.
This was reported by Mykhailo Panchenko, director of the illegal Regional Industrial Development Fund.
According to him, the climate and natural resources of the Kherson region allegedly allow cosmetic products to be manufactured here.
“The region has all the factors for this: nature, climate, soil, some logistical advantages. Everything necessary for the development of such a business and subsequently for creating a whole line of brands,” — Panchenko said.
At the same time, as of the beginning of October 2025 the total amount of damage to objects of the nature reserve fund that occurred as a result of hostilities on the territory of the Kherson region, exceeds UAH 782 billion.
