Maximum prices for firewood for 2026 were established in the occupied part of the Kherson region.
This is evidenced by the corresponding order of the occupying Price and Tariff Services of the region.
The respective order concerns the so-called state autonomous institutions – “Holoprystanske forestry and hunting enterprise”, “Skadovske forestry and hunting enterprise” and “Natural Park “Oleshky Sands”.
Thus, the price for coniferous firewood per cubic meter is 2 891, 09 rubles, for hardwood firewood – 4 892, 62.
As a result of Russian armed aggression on the right bank of the region, fires were destroyed 43.4 ha of forest plantations.
The area of destroyed forest on the left bank of the Kherson region is unknown.
According to scientists’ estimates, as a result of the detonation of the Kakhovka HPP by the Russian army, nearly 55 thousand hectares of forest on the left bank of the Dnipro were flooded.
