On the left bank of Kherson Oblast, a married couple will be illegally tried, whom the occupiers accuse of “treason and illegal circulation of explosive substances and explosive devices”.
The occupation prosecutor’s office of Kherson Oblast writes about this.
According to the illegal investigation, the 52-year-old man allegedly came into contact with representatives of Ukraine’s security services in the spring of 2024.
“Furthermore, in the period from March to November 2024 the accused received various explosive substances and explosive devices from Ukrainian handlers, as well as components for them, which, until their seizure by law enforcement agencies, he, with the assistance of his wife, stored at his place of residence and in various concealed caches”, – the post says.
The couple are accused of “treason” and the illegal storage and transportation of explosives. In particular, they are accused of violating Articles 275 and 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provide liability for actions carried out as part of an organized group.
