The occupation council of deputies of the so-called Nyzhniosirohoze municipal district created an illegal municipal road fund.
This was reported on the website of the occupation administration of Kherson region.
According to the document, the fund will be formed from local taxes, Russian subsidies and fines, and its funds are planned to be directed to “repair”, construction and maintenance of roads within the occupied district.
The occupation administration also defined the procedure for the use of these funds. It concerns financing road works, inventory and passportization of roads, registration of land plots, payment of taxes, as well as covering debts on Russian budgetary loans.
Recall, in early November 2025 the Russians again promised allocate money for repairs of roads in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine – including the left bank of Kherson region.
