The occupiers created an illegal “Administrative and Economic Center” on the left bank of the Kherson region.
The corresponding decree was signed by the acting occupation leader of the so-called Kalanchak municipal district, Halyna Perelovych.
The institution will handle administrative and economic support. Its “director” has been appointed Oleh Vodka.
Vodka is originally from Kalanchak. Prior to the full-scale invasion, he was the first deputy of the settlement head responsible for the activities of the council’s executive bodies.
In 2020 he was elected a deputy of the Kalanchak settlement council from OPZZh.
In 2018-2020 Vodka taught at the Chaplynka Professional Agrarian Lyceum. Earlier he worked as chief engineer of LLC “Trading House “Dolynske”.
In 2015 he ran for the Chaplynka District Council from “Petro Poroshenko Bloc”, but was not elected.
With the beginning of the Russian occupation of Kalanchak, he voluntarily sided with the Russians and received the position of deputy head of the occupation administration of Kalanchak.
In the summer of 2023, the Ivano-Frankivsk City Court in absentia gave him 10 years in prison for this.
