The Kherson region police are investigating a war crime by Russian military personnel, who on April 24, 2024, killed a 66-year-old local resident and set her house on fire.
According to the investigation, at around 07:00 that day Russian military personnel, while in one of the houses on Zhovtneva Street in the village of Podo-Kalynivka, Kherson district, shot a local resident with automatic weapons. After that the occupiers set her house on fire.

Note that law enforcement officers are also investigating a war crime by Russian military personnel, who on February 24, 2022, killed a 43-year-old resident of Chaplynka near the village of Kairka.
