The Kherson region police are investigating a war crime by Russian servicemen who on 24 February 2022 killed a 43-year-old resident of Chaplynka near the village of Kairka.
The investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region reports this.
According to the investigation, that day, at about 06:00, servicemen of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation, while moving in armored vehicles past the village of Kairka in Skadovsk district, shot at the passenger car “Renault Master” with automatic weapons, and then ran it over with armored vehicles. As a result of the crime, a 43-year-old resident of Chaplynka in Kakhovka district was killed.
