The occupying Ministry of Labor of Kherson Oblast appointed Marina Ostrovska as the new acting Minister of Labor and Social Protection.

According to the occupiers, Ostrovska has worked in the field of social protection for over 15 years.
She headed the Russian public organization «Union of Social Educators and Social Workers», and also worked in the government of the Republic of Mari El, where she held the positions «Minister of Social Development» and «Minister of Labor and Social Protection».
Ostrovska will be responsible for matters of social support for the population, the system of social services, and the sphere of labor relations in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast.
Before Marina Ostrovska’s appointment, the pseudo-agency was headed by Alla Barkhatnova.
