From March to June 2022, unidentified Russian servicemen carried out illegal hunting of animals on the territory of the Azov-Syvash National Nature Park, located on the Biryuchyi Island spit in the southern part of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region.
According to the investigation, Russian military killed deer, mouflons, Przewalski’s horses, as well as wild boar and game birds. Some of the destroyed animals belong to species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.

Recall, on October 6, 2022, around 12:00, servicemen of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation shot a local resident in the settlement of Chaplynka, Kakhovka district of the Kherson region. The police are also looking for witnesses to this incident.
