A resident of temporarily occupied Henichesk in Kherson Oblast will be held accountable for illegally receiving housing certificates and payments totaling nearly 5 million rubles.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
It is noted that in 2023 the man registered housing certificates and cash payments for himself and members of his family, claiming that they had allegedly evacuated from Kherson. At the same time, it is asserted that his relatives had lived in other regions of Russia since 2013 and were actually not present in the city. The amount of funds obtained in this way, according to the occupation authorities, amounted to 4.8 million rubles.
As reported, to arrange the payments the man provided forged certificates of registration of place of residence. Currently his bank accounts are frozen, and he is awaiting the so-called trial on a fraud charge under Russian Federation law.
Earlier we wrote that an 88-year-old resident of Kherson region who moved to the Russian Federation, received a housing certificate there, but could not obtain the payments without a court.
