The occupiers claim that 9,000 residential properties have been damaged or destroyed on the left bank of the Kherson region.
This was stated by the illegitimate governor of the region, Volodymyr Saldo.
Overall, on the territory of the left bank reportedly under Russian control there are 1,588 apartment buildings and approximately 175,000 private households.
Saldo claims that in 2025 residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed were allegedly paid 225 million rubles in compensation.
Earlier we wrote that the occupation authorities obliged property owners on the left bank of the Kherson region to submit Ukrainian documents by July 1, 2026 for the “re-registration” of property under Russian legislation.
