The sole Russian Institute of Spatial Planning, as part of developing the so-called “master plan” for the temporarily occupied Kalanchak community in the Kherson region, proposed developing the region’s agro-industrial complex through new facilities.

The project proposals allegedly provide for the creation of fish hatcheries in the area of the villages of Stavky, Preobrazhenka and Pryvillia, as well as an oyster farm south of the Khorly port.
In addition, the occupiers plan to restore pig farms, dairy farms and farms for breeding large and small horned livestock, and in the area of the village of Novooleksandrivka — to build an industrial food industry park.
Earlier, the occupation governor of the region, Volodymyr Saldo, promised to create a fishing industry complex in the region.
Recall that in January this year Russia claimed that stocks of migratory and semi-migratory fish in the Sea of Azov fell to a historic minimum. Species such as pikeperch, bream and chekhonya have been pushed to the brink of disappearance.
