The occupiers will illegally try a couple from the Kherson region for allegedly assisting the Ukrainian army.
This was reported on the page of the region’s occupation prosecutor’s office.
Criminal cases concerning two local residents — a 34-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, who are a married couple — were sent to the pseudo-court.
The Russian security service FSB accuses the Ukrainians of allegedly “state treason” under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the occupation investigation, in the period from October 2023 to April 2024 the couple voluntarily collected information about the locations of personnel and military equipment of the Russian occupying forces in the Kherson region. They transmitted the obtained coordinates and data via messengers to representatives of Ukrainian intelligence for subsequent strikes on the invaders’ positions.
