Russia does not abandon attempts to create on the occupied left-bank territory of the Kherson region something even remotely similar to a professional theater. For this, the occupiers once again financed an almost amateur, so-called Kherson Regional Russian Academic Musical-Drama Theater.
This was reported by pro-Russian occupation sources.
It is noted that the RF allegedly allocated to support the theater created by the occupiers another subsidy in the amount of over 13.8 million rubles.
The money the leadership of the occupation theater plans to spend on projects that promote Russian family values, their culture, etc. in settlements of the TOT of the Kherson region with a population of up to 300,000 people.
Recall that during the occupation of Kherson, the Russians created their own theater on the basis of the Kherson Regional Music and Drama Theater named after Mykola Kulish. It was in the spring of 2022.
The former theater guard Valeriy Sheludko voluntarily agreed to take the post of director of the occupation theater. Overall, at that time only 16 out of 250 staff and actors of the theater went to collaborate with the Russians.
Among them – only two professional actors: People’s Artist of Ukraine Ruzhena Rublyova and Honored Artist of Ukraine Yevhen Hamayunov.
Therefore, it is hardly possible to call the so-called Kherson Regional Russian Academic Musical-Drama Theater professional due to the dubious quality of its acting troupe, since not even third-rate performers from the Russian Federation go to work for it.
In addition, the occupied part of the Kherson region and the Russian hinterland are the only places that Kherson artists who collaborated with the Russians can count on.
