On the left bank of the Kherson region, the occupying authorities announced that starting from November 1, 2025, telecom operators will begin restricting service to subscribers who have not confirmed or updated their passport data.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
The so-called «Law on Communications» requires users to provide personal information to Russian operators. Those who do not comply face complete blocking of their numbers.
All residents fall under the «verification», including those who previously registered SIM cards using Ukrainian documents or passports of the so-called «DNR» and «LNR».
Recall that in 2025 the occupiers promised to build 235 mobile base stations on the left bank of the Kherson region.
Thus, in January 2025 the illegal authorities stated that 51% of residents were allegedly satisfied with the quality of mobile communications on the left bank of the Kherson region .
It should be noted that throughout the entire period of the occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region, mobile service and the internet there have remained consistently poor. This is especially noticeable in coastal settlements.
