Territories located closer to the Dnipro, on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region – densely mined and isolated.
This was reported on the air of the Espreso TV channel by the head of the Kherson Regional Council, Oleksandr Samoylenko.
According to him, the occupiers are mining these territories with “petal” mines. In addition, so-called “mini-petals” have appeared.
“They are generally very inconspicuous, but they cause some harm to people who try to get past mine barriers. Therefore, today all of occupied Kherson region, at least the parts closer to the Dnipro, are being heavily mined and tightly localized. The ability of people to move around the occupied territories – is very limited”, – Samoylenko noted
It should be noted that, according to volunteer Ksenia Arkhipova, the road to Oleshky poses a deadly danger – the highways are mined, drones are operating, and metal spikes are scattered on the roadway. At present in the city there is effectively an ongoing humanitarian blockade. A similar situation is in the city of Hola Prystan.
