The occupying authorities plan to close the school in Solokohirne of Henichesk district; they want to close it as early as June 15.
Pro-Russian pseudo-opposition media write about this.
Local residents learned about this after the fact, the post says, – “they were not warned, their opinion was not taken into account”.
According to the occupiers, 86 children attend the school.
“No alternatives for safe learning were provided to them. How to get to the new school amid constant shelling is unclear”, – the pseudo-opposition media quotes residents.
In addition, 40 teachers work at the institution occupied by the Russians – due to the potential closure of the school they “risk being left without any income”.
Earlier we wrote that the occupiers are likely preparing the closure of at least six schools in the Kalanchak community.
And in September 2025 the occupation ministry of education and science of Kherson region for the first time announced the closure of four schools in the temporarily occupied territory. They cited a small number of pupils as the reason.
