On the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, the occupiers are preparing “early voting” in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
This was announced to pro-Russian media outlets by the head of the illegal “electoral commission” of the region, Marina Zakharova.
According to her, the specifics of the electoral process are regulated by the provisions of the CEC of the Russian Federation, taking into account the martial law in force in the region. The occupation administration plans to use all possible forms of collecting votes outside polling stations.
In particular, Zakharova announced the holding of the so-called “voting” at home, in adjacent yard areas, and also in “hard-to-reach settlements”.
Recall that a few days earlier the CEC of the Russian Federation approved the procedure for conducting illegal elections on the TOT of Ukraine.
Russian parliamentary elections are scheduled for September 20 this year.
