This was reported by the head of the occupation Election Commission of Kherson region, Marina Zakharova.
According to her, the authority is already carrying out “educational activities” in schools and universities, and next year plans to cover preschool institutions as well.
“You should always start with the youth. Therefore we already have plans for how this will take place, because children require a special approach, especially with such a complex topic. It is necessary to explain everything to them in simple language and make it as interesting as possible”, — Zakharova said.
Earlier they reported there that on the TOT of Kherson region they are allegedly already fully prepared to hold sham elections to the Russian State Duma in 2026.
Recall, elections to the State Duma of Russia of the IX convocation are scheduled for 18-20 September 2026, where 450 deputies will be elected.
In August 2025 the occupation authorities of the left bank again «counted» voters — their number there was allegedly estimated at 354 thousand. However, the population census was only planned by the occupiers for the period 2024-2027, and the voter registry in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region is absent.
