The occupiers announced the launch of carbonated beverage production on the left bank of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the occupation-appointed governor of the region, Volodymyr Saldo.
It is reported that the project is financed through the so-called “Industrial Development Fund”, which provided a preferential loan.
With these funds the occupiers have already purchased Russian-made equipment. The line allegedly provides a full cycle: from water purification to packaging and mandatory labeling according to Russian standards.
Recall that in April 2024 the occupiers “re-registered” the trademark “Kakhovka”, under which beverages were produced in the Kherson region. Since then the brand allegedly belongs to LLC “Kherson Drinks No.1”.
“Kherson Drinks No.1” is the Kakhovka LLC “Troyka”, which was illegally seized and re-registered under Russian legislation.
Since 2022 the Russians have several times illegally transferred this enterprise into the hands of representatives of the occupation authorities. The first director of LLC “Troyka” was Yevhenii Orlov, an associate of Pavlo Hubarev, a former official of the “DPR”.
In the summer of 2022, due to a conflict with a representative of the Russian FSB, he was removed from his duties. After that the occupiers handed over the property complex of LLC “Troyka” for use to the newly created LLC “Nordstell”, whose director is Kakhovka resident Borys Zanakhadinov.
