Law enforcement officers have announced suspicion against Russian citizen Ramil Zamaletdinov, who headed the local branch of the CPRF and became a deputy of the occupation regional Duma on the left bank of Kherson region.
This is reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, in 2023 Zamaletdinov took the position of first secretary of the Kherson regional branch of the party “CPRF” and joined the organization and conduct of illegal elections to the occupation authorities.
After the pseudo-elections in September 2023, he became a member of the illegal Kherson Oblast Duma of the first convocation.
Subsequently, Zamaletdinov regularly recorded and published video addresses in propagandistic Telegram channels, justified the occupation of part of Ukraine’s territory, urged local residents to participate in the pseudo-elections and in the election of the President of the Russian Federation in 2024, and also reported on “the integration of the region” into the legal framework of Russia.
For collaborating with the occupiers and propaganda, Ramil Zamaletdinov is suspected of collaborationist activity and of justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 6 of Art. 111-1, Parts 2 and 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Note that this year the CPRF nominated Zamaletdinov as a candidate for deputy of the State Duma from occupied Kherson region.
