Roman Kravets, whom the Central Election Commission recognized as a People’s Deputy from the party “Servant of the People”, refused the mandate.
He said this in a comment to Ukrainian Pravda.
He also noted that he traveled to Israel on legal grounds due to problems with his eyesight.
“I have decided that I will not go to the Verkhovna Rada and I am refusing the deputy’s mandate. I believe that during the war the authorities should be staffed by professional people with experience. Now I understand that my experience is not sufficient to be a people’s representative during the war”.
He noted that he yields his place on the list to “the most deserving person who comes after me, the director of a travel agency”. “His experience will be needed by many in the near future”, – he said.
The next person after Kravets on the election list from “Servant of the People” is entrepreneur Bohdan Kozub.
Recall, the Central Election Commission recognized Roman Kravets as an elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine from the party «Servant of the People» instead of Dmytro Natalukha, who resigned his deputy powers in connection with his appointment as head of the State Property Fund.
