On the Zaporizhzhia front, as a result of a strike by a Russian drone, a servicewoman from the Kherson region with the call sign “Kara” was killed.
This was reported by the commander of the NRK company of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Serhii Volkov.
Her sister-in-arms with the call sign “Laiza” was killed alongside her.
It is noted that Kara endured the occupation in Kherson Oblast, filtration, and abuse by the Russians. Despite all this, she still joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Her sister-in-arms “Laiza” was one of the first in the unit to enter military service under a contract for youth aged 18–24
Both defenders carried out tasks to evacuate wounded fighters. According to the commander, they worked on the front lines, learned new skills, and took on difficult duties.
