For the reconstruction and construction of protective structures in the Kherson region the government allocated over UAH 69.5 million. At the same time the city needs additional funding to complete the works on time.
This was reported by Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal during a visit to the Kherson region.
According to the official, since 2022 enterprises in the Kherson region have received 748.1 tonnes of equipment and materials through the Ministry of Energy’s humanitarian hubs.
Since the beginning of 2026 the region received an additional 28.6 tonnes of aid, including transformers, generators, batteries, vehicles and specialized equipment.
It was previously reported that in Kherson they plan to create underground power networks to protect infrastructure.
