A serviceman from Kherson region, Andriy Petrenko, was killed while carrying out a combat mission.
This was reported by the head of the Manevychi community, Oleksandr Havryliuk.
Andriy died on December 19, 2025, during combat operations in Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.
Andriy Petrenko was born and raised on the left bank of Kherson region. After his mother’s death he moved to his father in the village of Novosilky in the Manevychi community.
He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The serviceman was 42 years old.
Earlier it was reported that a violinist of the Kherson Chamber Orchestra “Hileya”, Pavlo Babiy, was killed at the front.
