In the battles for Ukraine, a serviceman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kherson native Dmytro Aleksandrov, was killed.
This was reported by his comrades on social media.
Dmytro was killed on 23 May 2026 as a result of Russian shelling. He served as a section commander and held the rank of Starshyna 2nd class in the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the only son in the family.
Following the serviceman’s death, his comrades opened a fundraiser for his mother, Tetyana Rudolfivna. Funds are being collected for urgent needs and immediate financial support for the woman.
