It became known about the death of 19-year-old border guard from Kherson, Edem Aliyev.
This was reported by the Main Center for Personnel Training of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
When the full-scale invasion began, Edem Aliyev was in conscript service; later he signed a contract and served as part of the 15th Mobile Border Detachment “Steel Border”.
The border guard was killed in 2023 on the Bakhmut front. Only three years after his death was the serviceman’s body returned for burial.
