Propaganda television “Russian World” has been switched off in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
Pro-Russian media report this.
This is related to a malfunction on the “Kosmichny Svyazok” satellite, the post says. The television will apparently be off for about a month.
“They do not rule out external interference,” the post says.
Recall that the “Russian World” project was developed as the sole source of information for residents of the occupied territories of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The occupiers began installing satellite equipment in a “voluntarily-compulsory” manner for residents of the region’s temporarily occupied territories as early as 2023 — subscribers received free access to 20 basic Russian TV channels.
The installation was carried out by the LLC “Russian World” from occupied Luhansk, which was registered to a resident of St. Petersburg, Russia.
