Russian security forces announced the detention of five people whom they suspect of involvement in the killing of the Novokakhovka collaborator Volodymyr Leontiev.
Occupation media write about the detentions.
The names of the detainees have not been released, but Russia-controlled outlets circulated their photos.

The Russians claim that explosive materials and firearms were seized from the suspects.
The Russian side also says that the detainees could have been preparing other attacks on representatives of the occupation administration.
It should be noted that earlier Ukrainian partisans who took part in the liquidation operation said that those who were directly in Nova Kakhovka were evacuated to territory controlled by Ukraine. This was back in October of last year.
Recall, Leontiev was blown up using an explosive device by members of the Resistance Movement. This happened on October 1, 2025.
